Kano More Than One Way music video, Kano unveils the full video for his new song, “More Than One Way”.
Rather than a full-scale, conventional single release, the song is intended as a winter warmer to keep the home fires burning brightly ahead of further material and the new Kano album. BBC Radio 1 have already dubbed the new single as “The Hottest Song In The World” (Zane Lowe) and “The Hottest Record In The Streets” (Tim Westwood).
Produced by up and coming Dutch outfit Noisia, More Than One Way sees Kano, accompanied by a children’s choir, conveying an inspirational message to fans and followers over a sparse, atmospheric beat. The video for the song was shot at night on the River Thames during early December.
The video is directed by Emil Nava (also responsible for Tinchy Stryder’s “You Are Not Alone”, Sugababes “Get Sexy”), with John Perez as Director of Photography (Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida”, Jay-Z’s “Empire State Of Mind”).
Kano’s currently untitled forthcoming studio album – due out this spring – promises to be a significant milestone in the career of the London-born lyricist. At present, production credits include, ghetto-pop duo Radioclit (Santigold, MIA, The Very Best), Berlin’s electro-house upstart Boys Noize (Feist, A Trak, Bloc Party), purveyors of synthetic soul, Hot Chip, as well as long-term collaborators Mikey J and songwriter/producer Fraser T Smith.
